On January 25th, 2014, Dr. Abo-Auda and staff will be participating in the Baylor McKinney Hospital annual women’s health event For Women, For Life. The event starts at 7:00 a.m. and runs through 12:00 p.m. This is a community event that focuses on women. There will be blood pressure, cholesterol, and lung function screenings as well as body composition analysis. There will also be breakfast and a physician panel to answer health questions. Congratulations to Dr. Abo-Auda for obtaining a United States patent on a new medical device he invented for the treatment of a patent foramen ovale (a hole in the heart that didn’t close the way it should after birth). Dr. Abo-Auda has worked with industry leaders to advance cardiovascular care and he is continually striving for medical excellence and new advances in his field.

We are pleased to announce that we will be participating in the free Men’s Health Event, “It’s a Guy Thing”, at Baylor McKinney on June 22nd, 2013. This event is designed to teach men about maintaining and improving their health by providing free screenings of glucose, cholesterol, injury assessment, and more.

There will also be informational booths and several doctors speaking on a variety of subjects such as, gastroenterology, cardiology, and orthopedics. Please join us from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on June 22nd for all this plus a complimentary breakfast and door prizes.
